Makarios, from Greek origin, means 'Abundantly Blessed'.

Willem bought this farm in 1995 with the dream to bless and enrich peoples lives and after 25 years Makarios is still living up to God's promise.

Makarios' main focus is on serving people. This is done with multiple family, men, women, teens & marriage seminars every year.

In order to maintain Makarios' main focus, we have the agriculture & accommodation side where lots of honeymooners, families & friends have come to enjoy this wonderful piece of paradise.

Times aren't necessarily easy, with years of drought, pests and of course Covid, but through all the hard times Makarios is still abundantly blessed 

as we get to touch and change so many lives that come to heal.
